Dr King appointed to Orthopaedic Division, University of Stellenbosch
Dr King has been appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, Department of Surgical Sciences of the University of Stellenbosch. He will take up this new appointment in addition to fulfilling his normal spinal surgery activities at the SpineCentre.
Dr King has had a long academic association with the University of Stellenbosch. He completed his pre-graduate qualification, his specialist qualification as well as a PhD at this tertiary institution.
Dr King is very pleased to be rejoining the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in an academic capacity. He will be involved in training new orthopaedic surgery specialists, particularly in the field of spinal surgery.
The department is one of the leading training centers of Orthopaedic surgeons in Africa. Not only does it produce highly skilled surgeons every year, it is also the leading source of new orthopaedic surgery research and publications in the country.
